Christina - 32 years old and a former dancer.

Christina is from Kent and is 32 years old. She is a former dancer with a family history of sensitive digestive systems.

Christina suspects that her symptoms started while in Sri Lanka last year. "It was horrible. I had constant heartburn and indigestion because of it. Now I often feel sick to my stomach and get painful cramps." She has found that stress and alcohol exacerbate her symptoms, and she often has to stop eating and drinking because the heartburn is simply too painful. "Even a glass of water burns my throat."

Christina takes an H2-antagonist to relieve her symptoms.
