Shifting demographics and a generation of workers who don't believe a job is for life, mean companies are constantly searching for innovative ways to attract and retain talent. Running strong in this competition is AstraZeneca who ranked 46 in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For survey.
Two hundred and fifty AstraZeneca employees were asked to comment on topics including trust in management, pride in work and the company, staff satisfaction and camaraderie.
AstraZeneca UK Human Resources Director, Malcolm Hurrell commented, "We are delighted with the result. AstraZeneca came together less than three years ago and this is the first time that the company has made a submission to the survey. In this time we have worked hard to provide a working environment which is the envy of our competitors and this result shows we are well on the way to doing just that."
